Chloe graduated with a first-class degree in Illustration from UWE in 2019. In September 2021, she will be returning to university to refine her practice on the MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking course which is known for its ‘experimental, forward-thinking approach to printmaking and the future of the printed artefact’.
Her work often depicts the human form and psyche, and she would use literature as a source of inspiration for her visual narratives. Chloe’s process of monoprint involves painting on to a silk screen with palette knives before pulling the image on to paper with a squeegee. The result is loose and expressive mark making which allows the viewer to interpret shapes and build on their storytelling experience.
In addition to her practice, Chloe is a painting workshop instructor for Brush Party and the Print Technician at InBristol Studio.
