Following studies in Graphic Design in Edinburgh and Melbourne, Eva set up Blue Coats Studio in 2018. She collaborates with creative agencies to produce impactful brand identities, packaging design and websites for mission-lead brands.

Her studio has evolved into delivering bespoke interiors for new brands, championing simple materials, functional design and characterful spaces. Her projects are anchored in sustainability, using responsibly sourced materials and processes to facilitate the creation of low impact spaces.

After using recycled plastic sheet material in a number of restaurant fit outs, she received Art Council funding to launch The Bristol Plastic Factory, a new initiative exploring DIY recycling methods to transform Bristol’s post consumer plastic waste into unique material. Collaborating with The Factory at Knowle West Media Centre she plans to spend the summer wrestling with their plastic processing machines to transform a mountain of bottle lid donations into something semi functional, but very good-looking.
